Early logo exploration for a facial-recognition security product. During this phase, I developed a “facial bounding box” concept that later informed the final logo, which was completed independently following the company’s rebrand.
Initial exploration focused on eye and optic-based ideas, experimenting with ways to reference facial recognition both before the name and within the letters themselves.
From there, we explored the concept of the facial bounding box commonly used to identify a face within a crowd as a core visual direction.
This was the strongest concept we landed on. It incorporated a corner dot to suggest a camera lens and was designed to work both as a full logo and as a simplified icon when the full name was not needed.
Following the company’s name change, the final logo was developed using this concept, adapted to reflect the updated brand name.
